An exploration of technology as a reflection of ourselves. #deep
You text, I watch is an exploration of technology as a reflection of ourselves. This project plays with this phenomenon through the creative use of autocorrect to produce standalone artifacts.
In simpler terms, I play with autocorrect and make poems / words with the output.
Each entry in this series will first display the finished artifact, then, below, display the raw artifact with callouts for parts that were typed (read: seeded), manually added later, and phone-generated. I will also be providing the phone model and OS with these poems cause #data.
Of course, I’ll be using my artistic license to direct the word flow somewhat, but I think that’s in spirit.
Hi I'm Hamilton and I wrote / built this! I like doing lots of things, but mostly I like to build (and then share those buildings). Some things I'm currently building: art, software, and prose. To stay up-to-date with my latest buildings, subscribe to my email list or follow one of my many other accounts. #buildit #shipit #justhamit
